DEFINITION
Exposition text contains opinions and arguments of the author. This text can have pro and contra. What is usually discussed in this text are issues that are currently being discussed.
TYPE
Analytical Exposition
That begins with a statement that shows the author's attitude, opinion, or position on the theme being discussed, then supported by various arguments and closed with an affirmation.
Hortatory Exposition
Begins with a statement containing the issue or problem raised as the theme of the writing. Then it is supported by various arguments and supporting evidence that can lead the reader to the author's point of view.
STRUCTURE
Thesis : issues or problems that will be raised
Argument : the opinions or arguments that the author begins to explain.
Reiteration : conclusion or restatement of the author
